An all-new genre character of Lee’s creation is coming to the big screen by way of a partnership between Disney and Lee’s POW Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project will be based on “Nick Ratchet,” a high-concept detective story based on an idea of Lee’s with Richard LaGravenese attached to direct.
According to the report, “Nick Ratchet” is a mystery story that focuses on “a Jekyll & Hyde struggle between a meek, ineffectual police officer and his online alter-ego, a tough avatar cop named Nick Ratchet who emerges from inside a video game to usurp the life of his creator.”

LIMA TO REMAKE LIMPET
The long-in-development remake of THE INCREDIBLE MR. LIMPET has nowfallen into the lap of ENCHANTED director Kevin Lima, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. In the Don Knotts original, a boring man is made ahero when he turns into a talking fish that aids the Allies in WWII. Inthe 1964 version, animation vet Robert McKimson directed the 2Danimation of the talking fish. The long gestating project has seen Robin Williams and Jim Carrey at onepoint or another set to star and KING OF THE HILL's Mike Judge was at atime set to direct. Akiva Goldsman, Bill Gerber, Paula Weinstein and James Lassiter willproduce. Chris Chase is the exec producer. Greg Silverman will shepherdthe project for Warner Bros.

WATCHMAN SCRIBE TACKLING DEADWORLD COMIC.
WATCHMEN scribe David Hayter, along with his Dark Hero Studios partnerBenedict Carver, will team up with Pandemonium's Bill Mechanic to bringthe zombie comic series, DEADWORLD, to the screen, reports VARIETY.Hayter will pen the script. Producing with Hayter and Mechanic areFramelight's Robert L. Robinson Jr. and Jeffrey D. Erb. Carver,Pandemonium's Suzanne Warren and comic creator Gary Reed are the execproducers. Pandemonium and Framelight are putting up the coin. Theparties hope to get filming by next year. The comic looks at zombies from the point of view of the flesh eaters.King Zombie is a Harley-riding undead who hates surviving humans formaking him feel like a freak.

Sucker Punch (2011)
Sucker Punch is a movie about little girl who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution and while there she starts to imagine alternative reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man. Story is set in 1950's
